Olivia Spallino Savoie co-founded Raconteur Life Story Writing with her husband, Joshua, in 2016. She and the team at Raconteur write and produce heirloom life story books that families treasure. Olivia has personally penned over 50 life story books. Olivia has been featured on CBS Mornings and The Kelly Clarkson Show and has been named the Honorary Secretary of State. In addition to being featured in 30+ TV, newspaper, and magazine features, her writings have appeared in TODAY.com, Newsweek, The Globe and Mail, and Next Avenue. She is a native of Acadiana who graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in English and minor in history. She lives in Youngsville with her husband and two young children.
Dena Maturin has been writing a journal since her 11th grade English teacher required the class to write one entry per week, she has kept a journal ever since for the last 50 years! Her journals incorporate a Daily Log and also a “Deep Thoughts” journal. She would love to share her journal writing habits and encourage all to start the very satisfying habit of keeping a daily journal.

The event will feature Olivia Spallino Savoie and Dena Maturin who each share their craft with the audience. Olivia will share about the three types of life story books she produces, the process behind their creation, and more. Dena will give a brief history on how she became a daily journal writer with tips and encouragement for others to develop their own enriching habit of keeping a journal.
