Fr. Mark Toups is a Catholic priest of 21 years for the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux in south Louisiana, where he currently serves as Vicar General and Pastor of Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church in Grand Isle. In addition, Fr. Mark is an adjunct faculty member for the Institute for Priestly Formation, where during his history he has served as a professor of Spiritual Theology, spiritual director, and program co-coordinator for the Spiritual Exercises, 30-day retreat.
He has authored nine books and four eight-week video series. He most known for his Ascension resources:
Oremus: A Catholic Guide to Prayer
Rejoice! Advent Meditations series, and the Lenten Companion series.
He received his Master’s of Divinity from Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans. A college graduate of Nicholls State University, he is a native of Houma, Louisiana.
